இளம்பூரணரின் உரைத்திறன்: தொல்காப்பிய உரைப்பிரதிகளை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்ட ஆய்வு (Ilampuuranar’s Textual Abilities: A Study Based on Tolkaappiyam Texts)

ஆய்வுச் சுருக்கம்

தொல்காப்பியம்,  தொல்காப்பியரால் படைக்கப்பட்டது. இந்நூல் தொன்மை, செப்பம், செழுமை, வனப்பு, பெருநிலை போன்றவற்றுடன் தோன்றிக் காலத்தால் பழைமை வாய்ந்த ஓர் அரிய இலக்கண நூலாய்த்திகழ்கிறது. “இடைச்சங்கத்தாருக்கும், கடைச்சங்கத்தாருக்கும் நூலாயிற்று தொல்காப்பியம்” என்பது நக்கீரரின் கூற்றாகும். தொல்காப்பியம் பண்டைத்தமிழரின் தொன்மையையும், நாகரிகச்சிறப்பையும் விளக்கும் பழம்பெரும்நூல். இத்தகைய தொல்காப்பிம் முழுமைக்கும் முதன்முதலில் உரை எழுதியவர் உரைமுதல்வர் இளம்பூரணர். அதுமட்டமன்றி செம்மையான, பிற்காலத்தவர் பின்பற்றத்தகுந்த உரைமரபுகள் பலவற்றை அவர் தோற்றுவித்தார். இதனால் அவரை ‘உரைகளின் முன்னோடி’ என்கிறோம். கி.பி. நான்காம் நூற்றாண்டிற்குப் பின் தமிழகத்தில் ஏற்பட்ட அரசியல் மாற்றத்தால் தொல்காப்பியம் பயில்வாரின்றிக் கிடந்தது. இது கி.பி. பதினோராம் நூற்றாண்டு வரை நீடித்தது. இச்சூழ்நிலையில்த் தோன்றிய இளம்பூரணர் தொல்காப்பியத்தைத் தானாக ஆராய்ந்து கற்றார். தொல்காப்பியம் முழுமைக்கும் உரை எழுதி தொல்காப்பியக்கல்வி பரவுவதற்கும், தொல்காப்பிய இயக்கம் தோன்றுவதற்கும் காரணமாக இருந்தார். அத்துடன் இவ்வியக்கத்தின் தலைவராகவும் இருந்து உரையாசிரியர் என்ற கீர்த்தியை தமக்கே உரியதாக்கிக் கொண்டார்.

Abstract

Tolkappiyam is an ancient book on the antiquity and civilization of ancient Tamil. The text by Ilampuuranar is unique, though various texts arise from time to time. He is credited as the first to write a text that completes Tolkappiyam.  In addition, he created several refined, later textual traditions.  He was responsible for the spread of Tolkien education and the emergence of the Tolkien movement through these works, for which he served as the leader. He earned the reputation of being a speechwriter and the forerunner of texts.  He specializes in ethnography, industry, religion, history, dialect, foreign language training, quizzes, semantics, multidisciplinary knowledge, civilization-cultural messages, quotation marks, syllables, idioms, and syntactic.  There are many specialities to be found, including examples and milk policies.  With this in mind, the study aims to identify teenagers' texts by reading them, discovering their eloquence, and documenting it for future generations.  Ilampuuranar’s text has been used primarily for this study, as well as related essays, magazines, and electronic comments.  The study also suggests that further studies on Ilampuuranar's text should be conducted, giving importance to epistemology.
