தொகையிலக்கியத்திலும் தொல்காப்பியத்திலும் அறிவன் பெறும் இடம் (The Roles of Arivan in the Anthologies and Tholkaappiyam)

அறிவன் நிகழ்த்தக் கூடிய  கூற்றுகள்  பற்றிய தொல்காப்பிய விதிகள் அகஇலக்கியத் தரவுகளோடு முரண்படும்  காரணத்தை ஆராய்ந்து அறிவது இக் கட்டுரையின் நோக்கம் ஆகும். வாய்திறவாத அறிவன் பார்ப்பாருடன் நெருங்கிய தொடர்பு உடையவனாக இருக்கத்; தொல்காப்பியத்தில் பல நூற்பாக்கள்  இடைச் செருகல்களாக உள்ளன என முடிபு கூற வலுவான ஆதாரம் இல்லை என்பது இவ் ஆய்வு மூலம் உறுதி ஆகிறது. அறிவன் பற்றிய தொல்காப்பிய விதிகளும் அகஇலக்கியப் பாடல்களும் முதனிலைத் தரவுகளாக அமைய; பிற அகப்பொருள் விதிகள், பிற தொகைநூற் பாடல்கள், கல்வெட்டுகள், பிற இலக்கணகாரர் விளக்கம், ஆய்வாளர் கருத்துகள் ஆகியன இரண்டாம்நிலைத் தரவுகள் ஆகின்றன. ஒப்பியல் கோணத்தில் கட்டுரை அமைகிறது. 

Abstract  

This research article aims to find out the reason for the contradictions found between Tholkaappiyam and the akam lyrics regarding the rules imposed about the eligibility of arivan to converse directly in verse.  Arivan is found to be silent in the anthologies. The opinion that there are many interpolations in Tholkaappiyam, the masterpiece for grammar, is found to be baseless when studied with the consequences that show arivan's close relationship with paarppaar. The formulas of Tholkaappiyam quoting arivan and the lyrics in the anthologies talking about arivan serve as the primary source. The other quotes in the anthologies, inscriptions, rules of other grammarians and opinions of researchers are secondary sources for this comparative study.
